At the beginning, two years ago, I made a resolution to use the time to pause.
to stop To reflect. That's what many people probably planned to do.
We have stopped - but our global problems have not disappeared or diminished thereby.
Yes, Covid has changed us as a society, we have changed, Covid has dominated our thinking.
But at the same time, we haven't changed - we still like it warm and don't like change. And we crave to travel, to 'get out': Whenever pandemic regulations are loosened, travel bookings skyrocket.
...but climate change is happening in despite of Covid...
We are and remain creatures of habits and herds.
When I think about our global problems and how we deal with them, as I did at that moment, I felt helpless. How do you feel, what is on your mind when you block out Covid for a moment?
